The Pan-African television station, Voxafrica will launch the first season of The Voice in West and Central Africa. The Voice Afrique Francophone is set to launch on M-Net (DStv channel 101) in South Africa.
Voxafrica is a public limited company founded in 2007 by private investors with its headquarters in London, the network also has offices in Brussels, Douala and Abidjan. Currently a 3 channel network consisting of VoxAfrica, VoxAfrica Europe and Voxafrica UK providing coverage to Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and North America. Voxafrica is the only Pan-African bi-lingual, news and general entertainment channel offering programmes and interactive services on cable, satellite, internet, IPTV and also available in hotels throughout Africa.
In related news, The Voice is currently the world’s largest and most popular music show format. Produced and broadcasted in over 180 countries, the show will run for 17 weeks and will give hopefuls across Africa the chance to audition and showcase their talents in French-speaking African countries.
